Hajj Policy 2025 Pakistan

The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhary Salik Hussain has announced the federal Hajj Policy 2025 for the people of Pakistan. The policy includes the start date for the submission of hajj application 2025 and end date. Further it also includes the total package for Hajj 2025 expenses. Related: Hajj Policy Pakistan 2025

The starting date for the application for Hajj 2025 is November 2024 and they will continue up till December 2024. In addition the Hajj quota for the Pakistan for the year 2025 will be 179,210 Pakistani will perform the Hajj.

Compensation for Deceased during Hajj 2025

This time the government will also pay a compensation of Rs 2 million for all those who if die during the process of Hajj.

Further, the balloting would be organised on December 6. In addition, the children who are under the age of 12 years are not allowed to travel for Hajj 2025.

Hajj Quota for Private and Government Schemes

This time the Hajj quota for the Private Hajj operator and government supervision will be same that is  79,600 each. This is the equal number of pilgrisms for Hajj from Pakistan and Government of Pakistan has equally distributed the quota.

The federal minister announced that the expected cost for each pilgrim visiting the holiest sites in Saudi Arabia will range between Rs1,075,000 and Rs1,175,000.

Pilgrims are required to submit an initial payment of Rs200,000 along with their Hajj application. If selected in the balloting process, they must then deposit an additional Rs400,000, with the final balance to be paid by February 10, 2025.

In case of a cancellation, Rs50,000 will be deducted from the initial payment before issuing a refund. If the third installment is not paid, a deduction of Rs200,000 will apply, and after February 10, 2025, no refunds will be provided.

Furthermore, the policy has increased the compensation for the heirs of deceased pilgrims from Rs1 million to Rs2 million, according to the minister.
