Next date for tax return is 14th October 2024 or 14.10.2024. The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for the tax year 2024 to October 14, 2024.
Moreover, this decision was made due to the requests from various trade associations, Tax Bar Associations, and the general public. There is demand for extension of tax filing dates due to which the higher authorities of FBR has decided to extend the date.
The original deadline for submission of online tax return was September 30, 2024. But due to numerous appeals, the FBR decided to offer an additional two weeks for taxpayers to submit their returns. This extension is intended to help ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
