Hashim Safi al-Din is a famous leader of Hezbullah. He has served many years in Hezbullah and currently leading the Hezbullah after the death of Hassan Nasrullah.

Moreover, he is a senior Lebanese Shia cleric and political figure closely associated with Hezbollah. He has served in various leadership roles within Hezbollah’s organisation, notably as the head of its Executive Council, which oversees many of the group’s non-military activities, including social services, education, and infrastructure development. Safi al-Din is also a cousin of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, which adds to his influence within the group.

Further, Safi al-Din has banned by many states due to his association with the Hezbullah, He is also banned by the United States, for his role in Hezbollah’s activities.

Similarly, he is considered a potential successor to Nasrallah in leading Hezbollah, given his prominence and standing within both the organisation and the broader Shiite community in Lebanon. His rhetoric and policies are in line with Hezbollah’s ideology, which includes resistance to Israel and support for the Iranian model of governance.
