THAAD Missile Defence System – The THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) is a very latest and unique missile defence system. It is a sophisticated missile defense system designed to intercept and destroy short, medium, and intermediate-range ballistic missiles during their terminal phase (the final stage of flight, as the missile descends toward its target). Moreover, missile defence system is the modern system of war in which the missiles fired from the enemy side is defused before the missile is reached to the target. In this way, the loss from the blast of the missile is vanished.

Furthermore, THAAD can work in a step by step process. THAAD is part of a layered defence strategy and aims to protect against missile threats by targeting them at high altitudes, potentially even outside the atmosphere.
