Erika Carr Ogden Utah Cancer – The Utah mom who is living with cancer died. She has managed a GoFundMe page for the last burrial rituals of her ownself. Utah fought almost two years with the terminal cancer.

Erika Diarte-Carr Cancer

Erika Diarte-Carr died on Friday and she was 30 years of old. According to one of the cousins of Erika Diarte-Carr, she was living as a single mother. Erika Diarte-Carr had two children, one is 7 years old Jeremiah and second is 5 years old Aailiyah. Erika Diarte-Carr was living in Ogden almost 40 miles north of Salt lake City.

Carr Cancer Death

Carr was facing and doctors diagnosed her with stage 4 small cell lung carcinoma on 7 May, 2022. According to Carr GoFundMe page, according to doctors the there are multiple tumors metastasized in her entire body.

Later, on 17th January 2024, she was also diagnosed b doctors with Cushing Syndrome. This occurs due to high level of harmone cortisol. Further, she also faced multiple issues, like Type 2 diabetes, weight gain, deterioration of bones and high blood pressure.

At her page, Carr stated that her doctor said, “I hope you have a good support system at home because you’re going to need it, you have a long and hard journey ahead of you.”

Carr given 3 months in September

On Sept. 18 2024, according to Go Fund Me page of Carr, doctors gave three months to Carr to live. In this period she has to manage her funeral which lead to the creation of page.

In this scenario, Carr wrote on her page GoFundMe that

“I have been given 3 months to live. 3 months to spend with my babies and loved ones. 3 months to make the best of what time I have left,” Carr wrote. “During these next couple of months I need to make sure my kids will be ok after I am gone. I am faced now with the most difficult thing of planning my own funeral.”
