Solar Eclipse 2024 in Pakistan – The first solar eclipse has occurred on 8th of April 2024.

The second solar eclipse of the year 2024 will be occurred on October 2024. Today i.e. 2 October 2024 the second solar eclipse will be occurred in all over the world.

2nd Solar Eclipse of Year 2024

According to the Metrological Survey of United States of America, the second solar eclipse of the year 2024 will be occurred on night of 2-3 October 2024.

According to the Meteorological survey of Pakistan the Solar eclipse will be visible in Pakistan including many other states of the world.

According to the data provided the solar eclipse will start at 8:45 pm as per local time.

Regions where Solar Eclipse will be Visible

The meteorological department has stated that the eclipse will be observable in regions of North and South America and Antarctica.

However, residents of Pakistan will not be able to witness this celestial event.

The annular solar eclipse, also referred to as a “ring of fire” eclipse, is set to take place on October 2, primarily visible over parts of southern Chile and Argentina.

This event marks the first solar eclipse since April when eleven contiguous states in the US were in the path of totality.

Solar Eclipses in Year 2024

In the year 2024, there will be two mainly solar eclipses:

  1. April 8, 2024 (Total Solar Eclipse):
    • In the month of April there will be total or complete solar eclipse. It will be visible primarily across parts of North America. The total solar eclipse will pass through Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
    • Moreover, it will offer a breathtaking view of the sun completely obscured by the moon, plunging parts of the continent into daytime darkness for a short period.
  2. October 2, 2024 (Annular Solar Eclipse):
    • The second solar eclipse will be occurred on 2-3 October 2024. An annular solar eclipse will occur, which means the moon will cover the centre of the sun, leaving a “ring of fire” visible around the edges. This eclipse will be visible in parts of South America and the southern regions of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Unlike a total eclipse, the sun won’t be fully covered.
